MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
Its snowing where i live, looking like its going to be a white christmas for tomorrow :)
The first 10 years of the new millennium have flown by for me. Its the end of the... naught's? and start of the... ten's? I guess we'll have to wait till the 20's before the year date can be described nicely.
I've got some big ideas i want to implement into my site this year including live 'town cams' ... so keep an eye out for those. My baby's 1 year old now, i'm looking forward to see it grow through its second year.
Thanks to everyone at Yola and GS for helping me this year - its been the most fun ive ever had while learning :)
Merry Christams and a happy new year to everyone and your familys.

press enter at the end of the line in the site builder. then copy it across.
Sorry, in my message above what i meant by 'in the editor' was in the site builder editor.

A comment on the problem "Some images previously visible suddenly disappeared" in Yola:
Its still like that in the UK after a full clean - maybe it'll take a little while longer.
All my site images are back but the images sourced in javascript are still not right, Javascript always seems to cache differently.
I'll let you know if i see the fix. – UK Duke, on December 23, 2009 10:34

A comment on the question "Opening a web links in a new window" in Yola:
try and add it at the top of the page not inside the form.
If it does not work its becasue the links are controlled in some kind of javascript... You could add a snippt of code to the java script.but i wouldnt know anything about that. Javascript may as well be written in Chinese for me.

A comment on the problem "google adsense widget wont load" in Yola:
it maybe is the ad blocker. If you notice the problem again try and test it with it off. – UK Duke, on December 20, 2009 13:53
A comment on the problem "google adsense widget wont load" in Yola:
Have you try'd to right click the google widget and select edit or delete from there?
Also you could try and move the widget to the top of the page - that would lessen the effect of the other code on the page, perhaps if it was at the top of the site builder page it would allow you to delete it.

UK Duke replied on December 20, 2009 10:23 to the problem "google adsense widget wont load" in Yola:
Thats probably because you added it to a text widget.
You need to add the google ad code to a html widget or include a < br > tag if you want to add just the advert code to a text widget. (i understand text widgets are easier to move around).
If i have got this all wrong and you are not using a text widget to apply the code then let me know :)

Will, this is my favorite tool Ed has ever done the honour of leaving for us all :)
I use it on my site - its amazing - you need to download it, its not an online tool but its very safe and has been tested for safety by myself and others.
Heres the must have thread of 2009 http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/do_...
A comment on the question "Implementing custom menus into my site" in Yola:
<!--
Unless your linking to it in a sepearte CSS file the code has to be wrapped in these
<style type="text/css">
CODE HERE
</style>
I would recommned getting Yola pro - then you can upload the css as a file and it allows you to make site wide changes.

A comment on the question "remove yola footer?" in Yola:
Hi Kassie,
Did you read the post above from Monique?
You can now remove the footer in 2 ways - 1 is to pay $9.95 or you could go pro and you also (as well as the footer removal) get loads of other goodies - http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

UK Duke replied on December 17, 2009 00:43 to the praise "Thanks you so much!!" in Yola:
Hi Tony,
Yola is the best :)
Whatever you think is the maximum you can achieve is the nothing compared you can actually achieve - you can create a site you could never imagine was possible with Yola.
A year ago i didnt know anything about website building but with the help of this forum community i have created something that i never thought possible.
Sometimes i look at my own site and think 'how the hell did that happen'
The more questions you ask here in the forum the more you learn - its never ending.
Nice to have you onside.
Lee.
