The future of SEO...Something to think about:
worth thinking about - real time SEO.
Have you ever searched a topic that has just happened only to get old page results with nothing to do with the new event - this should sort it out.
For us site builders i think it puts an extra emphasis on blogging and social sharing.
If your 's**t' aint new - its old :)

<!--
maybe you were writting at the same time as Emmy, she leaves a suggestion below, you could try and add a no index tag at the top of the page in a html widget - that might do it.
Try and put just this in the html widget - dont include any head or body tags.
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">

Hi wbnorwood,
If you change the keywords and the window title on the pages with the same content the search bots wont notice its the same content.
Why would you want the same content on numerous pages anyway?
Can you not just link to the page which holds the content rather than show it on all of the pages?

A comment on the question "Add this Button" in Yola:
Glad to see its working - excellent idea - put the java part of the code outside the blog post and the share button inside.
I would never have thought that would work.
Excellent work around which i dont think has been done before.
I'm sure it will be usefull for other, it might work in other blog posts not displaying java situations aswell.

its missing something like this from the end of it
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js#pub=xa-4b2911b20b222858"></script>
I dont know if he has added it and then the blog deleted it or if its just missing?

Some very good info here. A great resource for new builders.
I however dont agree with the dont add dashes to your url - the dashes are search engine friendly and get ranked very high.
They also open up another whole world of URL possiblities.
For example...
meetfriends.com
and meet-friends.com
are both as (in my opinion) valid as each other.
Sometimes it actually looks better to split the words up. But yes perhaps not as easy for direct traffic and branding.
Apart from that i agree with all your points. Very handy tips.

Hi airsupport,
Sometimes javascripts dont work in the blog posts.
You can only really check you have all the code included.
I notice from your page source code that there is no javascript code - the last part of that add this code is usally a jvascript link - perhaps you are adding it but its getting rid of it for you.
Hope this helps a bit - Lee.
UK Duke replied on December 16, 2009 16:42 to the idea "I'm looking a widget or Code for Upload file who work in yola?" in Yola:
Hello,
You could use a Jotform form - http://jotform.com
They have a file upload option - remember a form could be just the upload box - you dont need name, email and all that other stuff.
Also I would suggest you change your forum username to something that is not your email - your asking for Spam mail.

Pick a colour...I used to have this feature on my site but it was done by linking different versions of the same page (loads of work) - this new system is a simple stylesheet switch - much more proffesional - it even remembers your choice for the next page you visit.
Check it out here http://hexham.info - the colour links are at the top right of the page.
Let me know what you think - and if anyone knows the colour code for a nice light red colour please let me know.

UK Duke replied on December 09, 2009 22:22 to the question "Break between blog entries" in Yola:
HI Katie,
I have just started in the world of blogs so im not the best perosn to answer this - how would you even go about putting spacing between posts? - are they not just a set distance from each other and you decide how many you want shown?
What i did to try to be a bit different was just show 1 and put links on the page to others.

Thanks Monique - im sure people would like this wide basic style.
You could call it cleanslate 10' or cleanduke :)
Another big thing is the removal of all borders from images by default.
If they say it may be possible it would be great if tyhey could contact me for an ideas session.
Thanks again.

The style i always wanted...This is the site style i have always wanted.
I've used round glass but decided it didnt suit the style of my site.
http://hexham.info
Notice the banner is a link and the page is 1100px wide.
I' going to redesign the search then set it site wide.
If you like this style and would like to see it available - be heard on this thread,
It would be just a slight change to the css of a certain free style.

A comment on the question "2 column layout not working as expected!?" in Yola:
When you use the change layout feature it auto widths the columns to fit the content - it can be annoying - i would suggest sticking with the widget if you dont like the effect of the main layout change.
