It makes me wonder what the point of rating tracks is at all if you lose them the minute you change media player.

Why should I rate my tracks with Songbird when the ratings won't work the minute I decide to use another media player?

I think it's a way of stopping people from leaving. If you make it so it's impossible to export your data then you won't ever be able to leave.

I used to use MediaMonkey and would still be using it if they had a version for windows.

I spent days of my accumulated time rating tracks in MediaMonkey, not knowing that no other media player is able to read the ratings. I'm not going to waste my time rating tracks like that in Songbird.

I don't see any reason why this hasn't been added.
