This might relate to the drop-off you’re seeing in test takers, is it occurring around the time people hit the page of sliders? – epc, on July 10, 2008 23:41

Two nitpicky interface suggestions.First, I've always hated selection lists that require you to basically click "add" from one list into another (e.g. your work experience selection list). I think it can be cumbersome for some users. I'm not sure about great alternatives, but I would suggest little tweaks like making selections drag-and-drop-able from one list to the other, or, having only one list and highlight each entry that someone clicks on as a selection (and removing it if they click again... perhaps with a checkmark next to it or something).
Second, this is really nitpicky, but the slider thumb is not horizontally centered over but rather left aligned to the current value on the slider. This makes all the sliders by default look off-center (slightly positive) and dragging all the way to the right has it go off the slider.

Tweaking the multiple slider interface. The double-slider questions are interesting, but it seems like the same thing could be accomplished with less effort on the part of the user by using a single slider and putting the two alternate characteristics at either end (since answers have to total 100% this is the same as positioning a thumb on a slider at the split point between two possibilities).
