Santosh, I've now gone ahead and added the Apply Now button right next to the applicant count just the way you suggested. The previous solution I had deployed was leading to a poor user experience as users thought that clicking on the 'applicants' link would tell them who has applied for the job. So once again, thanks for your suggestion.

Nikunj, we just added the ability to track your job applications on workosaur. And just like you requested, you can upload your CV once and you needn't repeat the word verification (now changed to a math equation based verification) everytime either. Do keep sending in more actionable feedback. Cheers.

We already have jobs by company and by city listed on separate pages with links to popular city pages on the sidebar as well. Plus there's always text search which can serve the purpose as well. Moreover, I think the user would assume that the job title link goes to the detailed job page and if I were to link different bits of the title to different pages then it would cause some confusion.

I implemented your suggestion albeit with a twist. Like in the case of the comment count on a blog post being linked the comment form, I have linked the applicant count to the job application form. Also it becomes apparent that it is a link because the colour of the word 'applicant' and 'applicants' is blue. I personally think this is a more aesthetic solution as I need not clutter the applicant count area with more text. Thanks again for your inputs.

Santosh you made a very valid point and I just needed someone to tell me about it. So I've actually gotten rid of the button from the Job Details page. In fact, I have done exactly as suggested by Yash. So once somebody applies to a particular job then the success message that follows also has a line that tells the user that they may find it useful to check their Linkedin network for connections in the organization to which they have applied. And they are asked to click the LI button to check. This addresses it.

Nimish asked a question in MightyQuiz on May 03, 2009 20:06:
Put this on your websiteWhen are you guys going to allow people to plug their quizzes on their websites? The feature was there earlier and I had it working on my site but it doesn't work any more.
Nimish replied on April 18, 2009 04:52 to the problem "Wordpress says 100% complete but does not import old comments" in IntenseDebate:
Oops I just noticed that some comments were not imported. For example when you go to http://www.acommonfan.com, it says 1 comment for this post http://www.acommonfan.com/2009/04/17/... but then it isn't actually there. @beaulebens can you reset the import for both http://www.acommonfan.com and http://blog.workosaur.com.
