Craig Huffstetler shared an idea in TweetDeck on June 09, 2009 14:46:
Tweetdeck should allow users to choose which font it uses (perhaps even by Window -- All Friends, Replies, DMs, etc.).It would be useful to be able to choose what font Tweetdeck uses. Not just "color." And not just "size." I know "size" is addressed in another idea.-
Craig Huffstetler started following the question "What font does TweetDeck use?" in TweetDeck.

Craig Huffstetler replied on May 12, 2009 18:04 to the problem "When I go to add my Delicious account's RSS feed to Twitterfeed using either the URL: http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/xarquid?count=15 or http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/xarquid or http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/xarquid?count=1 I get the error: We couldn't parse this feed: Failed to create cache root /root/feedcache: mkdir /root/feedcache: Permission denied at /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Cache/File.pm line 2 -- this is a valid URL and works from my browser. I do not understand why I am receiving the error. Any help would be appreciated." in twitterfeed:
Okay, I used the RSS URL:
http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/xar...
It seems to have tested okay and also used my bit.ly account.
Everything tested okay. We'll see if it works.
Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
Craig

Craig Huffstetler reported a problem in Seesmic on March 20, 2009 18:04:
Bit.ly shortening service is not working for the past weekBit.ly URL shortening does not seem to be working for the past week.
I re-generated my API key, confirmed my username was correct, and my API key was correct; however, when I go to shorten a URL it seems to time-out.
The box greys out for an unlimited amount of time after I hit "shorten." This only occurs for the bit.ly URL shortening service. The only way to stop and get back to Twhirl is to hit "Cancel." I have never had it work successfully for the past week with bit.ly's service. Is this a problem with Twhirl?
I am running Twhirl v0.9 on Linux using Adobe Air current. Bit.ly worked fine before. All other URL shortening services are working fine.
Craig Huffstetler replied on March 20, 2009 17:47 to the idea "Better support for all *nix systems using KDE, Gnome or XFCE." in Seesmic:
I agree that better Linux support is needed. A lot of people are turning to Linux apps (such as KDE Plasma applets or Gnome applets) instead of Twhirl.
It would be very helpful if there were developers working towards Linux versions of this product such as a GTK version. Or even just better Linux support via AIR, such as with the notify-osd package in Ubuntu and those who install it in other environments -- just like Growl on Macs.

Craig Huffstetler replied on September 01, 2008 18:24 to the problem "Two Twitter Accounts, One Site" in Twitter:
Get a program like Twhirl: http://www.twhirl.org/
It should help you organize your accounts and keep them separate. It will keep you logged in, keep them in separate windows and has a very nice interface.
I hope this helps some.
Sincerely,
Craig Huffstetler
