Tim,
Sorry you're having a problem with the search function.
Are you having a problem adding a search term, or are you having a problem viewing the terms that you have saved to search?
If you save a search term, you will see a tab in Twitbin right next to the Public and Tabs tabs.
Let me know exactly what you're having trouble with.
Thanks

Marvin,
We've been working on a few other changes that will be featured on the next twitbin that should be up this week or next week.
The feature you're suggesting is one that we've been asked about before and have planned on working on it for an update in the near future.
Thanks for the great suggestion!

Hey Ben,
Thanks for your great ideas.
We are constantly working on new updates and theme and font changes are up there on our priority list.
We are also thinking about showing more posts from your friends.
Hopefully you are willing to wait until we come out with new features, and don't leave us just yet.
Thanks again for your great suggestions!
Best,
Xavier

xavierb replied on June 23, 2009 15:26 to the question "Green avatar" in Twitbin:
Hey Joel,
The reason people are having green overlays on their avatar has nothing to do with Twitbin. In fact people are changing their avatars to have a green overlay in order to show support for the people in Iran. See here: http://helpiranelection.com/ .
Hope this answers your question.

xavierb replied on May 27, 2009 00:20 to the question "What does MASHABLE have to do with it?" in Twitbin:
The people at Mashable.com are great friends of ours. We decided to implement a new tab where you can track specific users so you can click on a tab and see up to 5 select users' tweets. Currently Mashable is our default select user.
In a few days we will be uploading a new version of twitbin where you will be able to edit the users you want to track.
Mashable will be the default user that will be tracked with any Twitbin account.
This can be changed in the settings tab.
Hope this helps!

xavierb replied on May 01, 2009 02:01 to the idea "How about a ReTweet button?" in Twitbin:
There already is a retweet button. It is directly under the user icon and if you hover over the button with the arrows it'll say it. If you don't have the latest version of Twitbin, download it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire... . Hope this helps.

xavierb replied on April 04, 2009 01:01 to the question "how do I remove twitbin completey?" in Twitbin:
Sorry to hear that you want to leave.
To remove it completely, simply go to Tools > Add-ons.
Click on Twitbin, and select uninstall.
After this it will tell you restart Firefox. Restart it, and Twitbin will be gone.
We're sorry to see you go and thanks for using Twitbin. Feel free to subscribe to our blog in order to get emails when we deliver newer versions of Twitbin.
Come back soon!

Chuck999,
We are aware of this problem and have been in the process of fixing it along with a few bugs we're working on so we can update a newer version with all the fixes at once.
If you want, we've blogged a fix for this bug here:
http://twitbin.com/blog/2009/03/a-few...
Hope this helps, and if you're subscribed to our blog, we'll notify you as soon as we have the fixes ready.

xavierb replied on March 16, 2009 23:22 to the question "opening links" in Twitbin:
Marcia,
When you click on a link in Twitbin, it is supposed to open in a new tab at the end of all your tabs. This is our default way of opening a new tab.
We do not have it set up where the link you click on opens the tab next to your current/active tab.
To check your twitbin version, simply go to Tools - Addons. You'll see Twitbin there and it will tell you what version you are using.
Are you experiencing any other bugs?

xavierb replied on March 16, 2009 19:38 to the question "opening links" in Twitbin:
Marcia,
There are problems that arise when a user has multiple add-ons installed on Firefox. Since you have Tab Mix Plus, it is quite likely that there is a conflict that is causing this issue.
I would recommend disabling Tab Mix Plus and seeing if the tabs open correctly. If this is the case, then it's a conflict between both add-ons, which we can't really do much about.
If it doesn't fix your problem however, please notify us again, along with the version of Firefox you use and what version of Twitbin you have installed.
Hope this helps,
@Xavierb
xavierb replied on March 16, 2009 19:35 to the question "Tweetbin not refreshing itself" in Twitbin:
Morjan,
How many tweets are you seeing listed when you have Twitbin open. Do you mean you only see tweets of an hour ago when you start, or just the whole time you keep it open?
What refresh setting do you have it set to in the settings tab?
Please let us know what version of Twitbin and Firefox you're using.

xavierb replied on March 16, 2009 19:31 to the question "Bird icon appears in a different place than instructions say" in Twitbin:
Debra,
Thanks for posting about the bug you're getting after installing Twitbin. We are aware about this issue and are in the process of fixing it and uploading an updated version of Twitbin.
The little bird icon on the bottom right is there not because it was in the wrong location, but because that's the one in the status bar. You should have two birds, one on the bottom and one on the top.
If you want a workaround to get the bird icon, I posted a fix on our blog, and you can see it here:
http://twitbin.com/blog/2009/03/a-few...
I hope this helps and we will get the fix updated as soon as possible.
