Today, we’re updating our Privacy Policy to make it easier for you to understand our privacy practices and how we use data at Ning. Some of the key changes include the addition of a highlights page and simplified language. These changes do not alter the way in which we handle personally identifiable information and many of the changes offer increased protection of your privacy.

In the updated policy, we’ve provided more detailed information about the collection and use of non-personally identifiable information by ad networks, ad servers and other third parties. We’ve also added information about the choices you have regarding the collection and use of this information.

Included in the updated policy is a commitment to you that if we make a change to our privacy policy that is less restrictive in how we use or disclose your personal information that we previously collected, we will notify you and seek your consent prior to implementing the change.

Finally, we’ve removed information about some features that are no longer available, such as the recent update we made to Ning.com.

Please let us know if you have specific questions about our new Privacy Policy in the Ning Help Center.

Might want to send them another letter - Laura closed one of mine cause she thought it was spam??? It was about Music player issues... so I don't think they are really truly reading the reports, only skimming them. Which of course isn't great customer service.

I closed off one of my networks and started it again on flickr. You can create a group there and use that for photo sharing and just put a link on your network guiding people there.

They have been closing anything with slight nudity or erotic suggestion.

Because Ning is no longer here at GS. They left.

I know, I understand but if it has "ning" written on it (notice they changed the "created network by") I think it will violate the TOS.

I am glad it worked. They have been talking about this bug on Creators so I wasn't 100% sure this fix would work this time. :-)

You have to pay to have it removed through their premium service otherwise it will violate TOS and they will suspend your network.

I ended up trying firefox at the time it happened to me and worked. After I updated Chrome it finally worked there as well. I have NO idea if its a browser conflict or if it was something Ning did.

If this doesn't work I would start a new ticket, I found if one ticket doesn't work sometimes starting a new ticket helps - I don't know why but it once worked for me.

You will need to contact Ning directly, either they removed your site for a violation or something isn't syncing right.

They removed the old "easter egg" when you could click on the arrow and see the older retired layouts. Now they really are retired.
