I'm suggesting when you right click in the artist name, album or genre in the top of the filter pane, should allow to add all musics from that artist/album/genre to a playlist or queue. I think it should be better than selecting all the files in the list than select to add it to the playlist/queue

Double clicking the artist name, album name or genre should hava an option to add it to the queue/playlist and other options that we have when right clicking the artist/title

Should be available some tag manipulation like:

- Auto numbering: selecting n musics should permit to automatically number them from 1 to n sequentially (should allow manual sort of musics);

- Tags from filename/path (and vice-versa) - Should allow user to set music tags from filename/path or filename/path from music tag, from pre-defined or user created "presets" (i.e. "<artist> - <tracknumber> - <songname>" would rename a file to "The Beatles - 01 - Love Me Do").

- Replace characters with spaces and turn upper case - Should allow to replace a given characters in tag by space and/or turn a tag upper case (i.e. the_beatles_-_love_me_do -> The Beatles - Love Me Do)</songname></tracknumber></artist>

The idea is to have a configuration that allows the program to automatically do that when a song changes, without the need to click...

The user should be capable to see immediately where the music is in the library (i.e. if we like the music playing, we should be interested in listen other musics from the artist/album...) – zegato, on September 17, 2008 16:39

Musicbrainz intergration via right click

Songbird should intergrate with musicbrainz via right click.

When select a full album in library should have an option to search album in musicbrainz and update tags automatically (searches by the artist name, album name and number of tracks). It could work also for a single music.

Dynamic playlist mode

Have a dynamic playlist mode, that insert n musics in the playlist (or queue) of similar artists of the one playing (this information can be retrieved from last.fm).

The number of tracks to insert should be configurable.
