E-mail from phone=garbage, from gmail=success

When I e-mail to the post e-mail address from my phone it shows up as garbage, when I do it from my gmail address, it works fine - any ideas?

AT&T Text Issue

I use AT&T and when I send a ping from my phone I get a long string at the end of my ping that AT&T attaches to all outgoing messages. Can you guys resolve this? It makes it impossible to ping statuses from my phone because it throws all my friends twitters completely off, and it just looks terrible annoying!
