Can't add Facebook (for profile)

Trying to add Facebook results in an endless loop of "Congrats! You have successfully added the Ping.fm Facebook application! " (http://apps.facebook.com/pingdotfm/po...) and "Before we can post to your Facebook profile, you must connect Ping.fm to Facebook by adding the official Ping.fm Facebook application." (https://ping.fm/facebook/?_fb_q=1).

I had the Ping.fm app working successfully on Facebook for several months. I removed it to add Facebook Pages updates and am trying to re-add Facebook profile updates. Please advise.
