laconi.ca servers that only support https
The laconi.ca integration doesn't seem to work with servers that only accept https: -- any chance of updating it to work in this case?

Inappropriate? If I enter any kind of URL that is more than just the hostname, it seems to get stripped back down to just the hostname. I have tried "https://laconica.example.org" and "https://laconica.example.org/api", and it always gets returned as just "laconica.example.org". I still always get the error message "Could not authenticate your Laconi.ca information".

Inappropriate? This still doesn't work. Sure wish I could post to our private laconica server via ping.fm...

Inappropriate?Hey John,
We are putting in a fix for this very soon. Thanks for your patience. -
Inappropriate?Fixed.

Any suggestions on how to format the entry properly? I am still seeing the same results. Is the change in production at this point? -
What is your Laconi.ca server? You can e-mail the details if you want. sean a ping d fm -
Inappropriate?I think I'm having about the same issue except I'm not sure if the server I'm using supports https (it's a shared server).
Every time I enter the server, username, and password, it returns with "Could not authenticate your Laconi.ca information."
I'm not sure what to try next. Any ideas?

If you e-mail me the server/un/pw to adam at ping dot fm, I can try it from my side. -
Inappropriate?Sean was helpful in troubleshooting this issue. He believes it's a certificate issue -- the one we use is signed by our internal CA, not by a big public CA. No confirmation yet that this is genuinely the problem, but does seem likely.
