ping.fm posted someone else's picture when I updated my status. I didn't send this picture!
Ping.fm posted someone else's picture as mine. I sent a status update via email saying "Working, listening to music" with _no_ image in it, and ping.fm posted it along with a picture of someone else's kitchen:

I don't recognize this photo and I certainly didn't send it. Why did ping.fm post this photo with my status update???
This is the second time this has happened to me. I'm scared of what will happen if ping.fm posts a really crazy photo someday. This one is relatively tame, but I'm afraid to use ping.fm if this is going to happen!
Please explain how this could happen and what I can do to prevent it.

Inappropriate?I have had 2 different Ping.fm accounts compromised.
This is VERY URGENT AND VERY SERIOUS.
First photo was an advert for a concert and the second was a picture of a girl up a mountain with a background of the sea and some small islands offshore.
Somehow the posts are in My Media folder yet my passwords are strong and secure so I doubt someone has hacked into my ping.fm accounts.
What is strange is how they bound my normal ping update via email with these images!
My websites are national and these feeds are important live services and this is very unprofessional.
Ping.fm team please can we get an answer ASAP.
I’m very very concerned

I don't think my account was compromised. I just think there is a technical issue which is occasionally causing ping.fm to post the wrong picture, or to erroneously cross-post someone else's picture in status updates. I agree it is a serious bug that needs to be fixed. I hope ping.fm answers this one. -
Inappropriate? It has been fixed as of about 8PM CDT.

Thanks, Sean. What was it? Is it likely to happen again? (I ask because it's happened to me in the past as well). -
It was a problem with incoming e-mail recycling image data. It's been permanently corrected and won't be happening again.
