Inappropriate?I am getting this error when I try to activate your plugin:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONST, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/content/s/w/e/sweepsmaster/html/wp-content/plugins/pingfm-custom-url-status-updates/pingfm.php on line 45 -
Inappropriate? That's because you probably didn't read the instructions. ;-) You're most likely using PHP 4, but the second bullet point under 'Minimum System Requirements' lists PHP 5.1.0 as the lowest supported version.
If you have the option of toggling between PHP 4 and 5, turn PHP 5 on and see if that helps (it should).

Inappropriate?Yes you were right Obi One. It is working now (changed to PHP5) . Only one strange behavior. The custom titles are not coming through. I have it specifed as the example: New Posts on %date% at %time% in the plugin settings?

Inappropriate? What kind of update are you posting from Ping?
-
Inappropriate?I just use the default setting.
-
Inappropriate? The title substitution only happens when posting a status update and only when the box is checked to force status updates as full posts. If either of those two conditions isn't met, the substitution won't occur.

Inappropriate?OK, thanks
