I so agree with you. If I could just read my accounts in one area instead of having so many different applications open @ one time. I'd almost pay for it.

There's a request for identi.ca that you can vote for. It'd be a good start.

Plurk doesn't currently have an API and it looks like it will be a long time before it comes out, if ever, so it would be impossible to integrate Plurk. Even with a hacky backend of XMPP wouldn't work, because Plurk took their IM integration down a while ago and it looks like it will be gone for a long time.

plurk has an API and their IM integration has been back up for months now.

Plurk doesn't have an official SDK, and the API that exists is changing. Just this week they changed the name of their cookie and the User/GetCompletion response.
