Phantom new responses

1 new response appears on the bottom of the screen, despite there not being any unread messages.

  I too had this problem. I submitted a ticket, it seemed to have resolved a week or two back. (I should note I'm rather miffed that plurk NEVER replies to communications)

  I had this problem yesterday, but today it seems to be working okay. It's a sporadic problem. (Delete or Edit for 15 minutes)

  I had this problem too. I just pressed the Mark all as read link as a workaround to the annoyance, maybe you could, too. :)
