Much of today (2009-01-07) after noon Eastern Time (GMT-0500—I'm located in Virginia, USA) Plurk has been unresponsive and/or simply unavailable. New messages cannot be replied to because of "unknown errors" or Plurk times out. Threads do not properly update or display the number of messages in them. Threads regularly display an "unknown error" that prevents viewing their contents. Plurk continues to capriciously and randomly mark message threads as "read" when they have not been touched, and refuses to obey "mute" settings on others.

It's been fixed. It is no longer slow and unresponsive. It is completely offline. IE can't find it this morning. -
It appears that every message thread in my timeline, whether they contained unread messages or not, was marked as "read" late last night. I wouldn't consider that a "fix." I see new messages this morning but, frankly, I don't have confidence in Plurk's ability to keep all of them marked unread until I can scroll through my timeline manually and catch up. -
Inappropriate?hi Plurk, basically the system is slow to respond, responses aren't showing, slow to Plurk responses. It's great that you have new search options and private plurk identification, but it would just be great if Plurk were to be reliably usable. A lot of my friends have left plurk for other reasons, but the rest of us are getting frustrated and relying on twitter and facebook because it takes so long, or we can't even use plurk.
