Primal Fusion a base engine or full service thought network?
So is this like a base engine for users to create niche specific thought networking services on their own or is this just something Primal Fusion is doing to get known out there? I'm really interested in creating a gaming specific thought network service.

Inappropriate? Both. We've designed our platform to support niche services and applications, as well as provide a full-service thought networking service. So if you want to create a gaming specific thought network service, we would very much like to provide the platform to help you do that.

Inappropriate? So, I'm just guessing on this one now. Really the only thing different about the base engine would be where it pulls information from and of course the styling. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
I'm more of a web designer and not as much of a web developer. Also, just for curiosity's sake. Did you happen to buy primalfusion.net from Ryan Strug or Anthony Hoivik? I knew them and they had owned primalfusion.net at one point in time like a year or two back.
One more thing, how would I go about getting the platform to start this little thing of mine? I know I'd probably have to wait til it's in Public Beta or later wouldn't I? -
Inappropriate? You're not wrong, but it's a big topic. We're in the process of preparing a white paper on the platform that addresses questions like these. But the short answer is that the service was designed with extensibility points to make it easy for people to build their own thought networks.
Sorry, I can't help you with your question re: primalfusion.net. But I'm never surprised by what a small world this is!
Thanks for the questions. I look forward to hearing more about your ideas. -
Inappropriate?I'll be looking forward to that paper then. What language is this coded in? I noticed it's Ajax to display the content, but is it written in PHP or something else?

Inappropriate?@Bryce, you're right that we're doing a lot with Ajax. We use a variety of languages behind the scenes to make the magic work. PHP is one of them, and it's what's serving up the UI that you see.
