Raptr client shows two separate windows
When opening the Raptr client's UI, two windows are created and shown, rather than just one. See the screenshot:
As can be seen, the Raptr client appears twice, including two appearances on the taskbar.

Does this happen every time you open Raptr? Can you tell us what operating system and version of Adobe AIR you have running? Thanks for letting us know!

Inappropriate?Not every time, but a majority of times, especially when I try to open it when the computer is being slow. Running Vista SP1, Air v1.1.377. -
Inappropriate?Adobe AIR is supposed to automatically force updates. The latest version of Adobe AIR is v1.5. Would you mind updating to that and seeing if that resolves the issue? Sorry that you're running into this problem.

Inappropriate?The 1.5 installer tells me I'm already up to date. (Which means that Adobe doesn't care about making sure its installer/updater gives Windows the proper version info to display in the Programs control panel, *sigh*)
I don't know enough about AIR to take a guess on how you come up with the UI window from interaction with the tray icon, but I'm guessing that a new window is created every time someone says for it to be opened up, rather than creating one and hiding it as needed. Still, that's not enough for me to say if it's you or if it's AIR that's causing the problem. -

Not an ideal option but it'd be good to know whether that helps, too. Sorry you're running into this strange issue.

Inappropriate?This problem has been resolved with a completely overhauled client that was released a few months ago and includes IM on any of your favorite IM services.
