Could you please remove the advertisement before making the call connection
Could you please remove the advertisement before making the call connection? That's a pretty long Ads and really annoying. For those contacts that don't understand English, they thought the calls were connected to a wrong person and something was wrong with the number. If Rebtel would like to play the Ads, please pay their customer for listening to the Ads, or let the customer to choose not to play the Ads. This is not a free service anyway, or please write into your Terms that the customers will be forced to listen to Ads.

Inappropriate? At least have a premium service for acouple of bucks more that will skip this
stuff!
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate? Are you referring to our IVR? It is unfortunately not possible to remove our IVR voice prompts, since they are there to provide instructions on how to correctly use the service.
Rebtel is not an ad-based service and we do not play any ads of any kind, to our knowledge.

this solves the problem

Inappropriate? No, my guess would be he's referring to the "Rebtel will now connect your
call" (or something like that) announcement you hear before the ringing tone when you make a collect call. That isn't instructing you about anything you couldn't guess if you instead heard silence followed by the ringing tone, with the advantage of the latter being that everyone understands silence followed by a ringing tone while not everyone necessarily understands "Rebtel will now connect your call". Normal phone calls don't have a voice announcement before the ringing tone, so one can see why this might be a bit confusing.
Since the only thing the announcement tells you that you might not know without it is that it is Rebtel which is connecting the call, I can see why one might call it an "advertisement". I guess the announcement might have some other purpose, but I don't know what it is.
