The difference between ITALY 3 mobile rate and other Italy mobiles rate
My landline number in US is caller I.D. blocked. i will not unblock it for any reason. If I subscribe to REBTEL, can I still make calls using my REBTEL account since my caller ID will be blocked from REBTEL? If so, how do I do it?
Further question: You show one rate for calls to mobiles indicated as "ITALY 3" and another rate for "all other Italy Mobiles!" What is the difference? How do you know if you are making a call to an ITALY 3 mobile or to an "other mobile?" The rates are considerably different. Italy 3 calls are 35 cents/minute, otherwise they are 19 cents/minute for "other mobiles".

You can subscribe to Rebtel with your landline or mobile, and you will be able to make calls through our service even if the Caller ID in blocked, however, every time you call through our local numbers the system will always ask you to enter your phone number and Pin code, since the system needs your recognize identity to be able to connect your calls.
Regarding the rate to Italy, indeed it does change from Italy 3 Mobile to other mobiles, since the authorities in Italy charge us a higher rate when we call toward Italy 3 mobile numbers, they simply charge us a higher rate then the other providers in Italy.
Did you know that you can call for free to Italy by making a Smart Call ?

Inappropriate?How do I know if the number I am calling is an Italy 3 number (which would be a higher /minute rate) or is the "other mobile" which is a lower per minute rate. What would indicate what the number is associated with?
Smart calls are expensive. ANY calls from my friends MOBILE in ITALY is billed at around 49 cents /minute. Therefore, SMART CALL wouldn't make any sense with that kind of "local" Italty mobile charge for him. When he calls the number on the screen, won't he be charged for a local call in Italy? -

On your Rebtel contact list you will see the rate we will charge you for every contact, and if the rate is higher than the standart rate for Italian numbers, this will mean that the number you are calling belongs to Italy 3 or TIM operators, since they have a different rate.

When you make a Smart Call, Rebtel won ́t charge you anything, the international part of the call will be totally free.
