Smart Call

I have a Rebtel contact with whom I communicate with numerous times a day. We use the smart call method (either I call and hold while they call back or vice versa). However, when reviewing my charges I can see that I am being charged for COLLECT, and DIRECT calls to this other rebtel customer. Only a few of the calls register as "smart calls". Yet, the method for calling is always the same.

Why am I being charged?!?!
