End of file error
Hi,
I was checking why rescuetime wasn't logging anymore and found the following error in the debug tab of preferences.
2007-10-17 16:22:14
1400: Error: -39. End of file error.
It seemed to have been doing this for hours. A restart did not seem to solve anything.
Could somebody help me out?

Inappropriate? That's a new one for me... We'll dig in and see if we can get it fixed. Thanks for the bug report!

Inappropriate? Can you check to see if there is a file named "Sleep Results" in the following location:
Macintosh HD/<username>/Library/RescueTime/Results
If your machine is active the Sleep Results file should contain the word "awake" or the file will not exist at all (meaning your machine has never been put to sleep), when it goes to sleep it will contain the word "sleeping".
My guess is that the file that is out there now is empty. If that is the case, you should be able to quit RescueTime, delete the empty file, and restart RescueTime to get back to working condition.
I've added this as a bug to make sure we handle situations where the file is empty.
Let me know if this is your issue and if it resolves it.</username>

Inappropriate? Thanks Tony and Joe for the replies. Deleting the file "Sleep Results" seems to have done the trick. If the problem resurfaces after a long sleep I will let you know.
I’m thankful
