Is there a Portable / USB version of RescueTime?
I use multiple computers, some without administrator access.
The only thing holding me back from getting rescue time is no USB version.
Can you give an ETA on a usb version of rescue time?

Inappropriate?Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The 2.0 version of RescueTime is supposed to have this feature, but it is not working with the releases we currently have out there.
However, I've bumped it back up on my priority list and I hope to have a new release out in the next week that will include the ability to place RescueTime on a USB device and localize all of the supporting files in one directory.
I'll post back here when I've got a release ready for general testing. -
Inappropriate?That would be great!
Will there be a "send my data from another computer / temporary offline" option?
As in collect my data from a computer thats offline, plug in the USB drive into another computer with net, and have it send the data collected from the offline computer to the rescuetime servers.
I am a consultant and sometimes the firewall or proxy settings block the datacollector to the rescuetime website.
Thanks!
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?By default, if RescueTime is unable to communicate with our web servers (for whatever reason), it will store the accumulated log information in a local file or multiple files (if it's over a period of multiple days or weeks). The next time RescueTime is able to talk to our web servers, it will send all the old log data.
Depending on how long you were disconnected, it might take a bit of time (10-30 minutes) to get everything caught up on your RescueTime.com dashboard, but it should all make it there.
