Is there a way to distinguish what I'm looking at in GMail?

I use 3 different accounts in 2 different browsers and I can't seem to distinguish even between accounts. I'd like to be able to distinguish between folders / keywords within accounts, as well. All of this info is in the window title, which according to my preferences, the application is tracking, but I can't find it anywhere in the dashboard to break it apart and tag it separately.
