Additional purchases at booking
One of my tours offers a lunch option, which I am trying to include. There is a set price per person. The price is not commissionable. How do I allow the customer to choose the number of lunches they want AND have that total show up when they book? I have tried using a form field, but can't find a way to allow someone to select x lunches at $xx each.

Hi Summer and Val,
While we currently do not support add-ons based on a number, you can use our checkbox form field to give options to the booking party and not just to each guest. In this example ( http://supertours.rezgo.com/tour_new/...) I use the checkbox form field to add options to the primary user only, and with the different pricing scheme they can add as little as one additional lunch, all the way up to 10 additional lunches.
It is a work around, but it works :)

Inappropriate? The best way to deal with this is to add a custom form field that is per passenger. So for example, you would create a lunch option and choose "Show to all users booking this option". This will display the check box for each passenger. This way, the booking customer can choose who will be having lunch. You can find more information here:

I’m hoping that answer helps.

Inappropriate? Thanks, Stephen, but this that solution seems cumbersome ... I don't like it. I'll keep working on it.

Inappropriate?Hi Summer,
I am having the same glitch as well. I have made it to "show all users booking this option" however, you're right - it is cumbersome for the person booking online to have to enter info for each person. In some cases the person booking the trip doesn't know every group members name.
If you find a workaround for this, please let me know.
Thanks Summer,

hi Phil, are you planning to support add-ons based on a number in the future?
Thanks, Nicholas -
Inappropriate?Hi Nicholas,
I will mention it to our development team, and see if we can include it in our development plan.
All the best,
Phil
I’m happy
