How do you manage multiple different departure dates?

A Rezgo tour and activity member recently described the following situation:

"I don't have a regular departure schedule, and have tours leaving at various days throughout the month. How do I manage my tours to show only those various departure days?"


We support this, but it requires some work. You can manage your single day inventory in two ways:


  1. On the tour option, you have the opportunity to select "Availability" tab, you can then set the 'start date' and 'end date'. If you set the start date and end date as the one departure date, then that option would only show up for 1 day. You will then have to copy this option and adjust the start date and end date for each option for every day you are departing.


  2. You can manage the availability in rules. By default you can set your tour availability to 0. and then create a rule that sets the availability for certain tour dates that will increase the availability. This will allow you to modify multiple inventory items with one rule, which will lower the number of tour options you have to create, but it may slow down the generation of the calendar.


Both options allow you to specify specific departure dates.
