Multi tour option selection (Booking Basket) to add multi tours
We need our customers to book multi tours and tour options. Lets say I have a tour on a boat I am booking for 3 people. The boat tour has 3 options snorkeling, diving, ocean walk, we would like each person to be able to pick 1 2 or multiple tour options. i can only get to pick 1 option for the total number of persons booking. I would also like my customer to continue shopping for more tours before checking out.

Inappropriate?Have you tried adding custom fields? I did something similiar and for me, I was able to enable options if I used check boxes which allow you to apply a price adjustment. If each person can select different options, then you'll have to have a field for each option and required each guest to pick their individual options. That can be a little tedious, but it should work for you. -
Inappropriate?Thanks for the question Andrew. For now, Kim's method is probably the best if you don't need to track inventory counts across the additional options. We are currently working on a way to support multiple bookings at the same time. I like your term "Booking Basket". We don't have a firm launch date for this functionality, but it will be within the next quarter.2 Comments

Thanks Stephen for the quick response, I have added custom field however they do not have date or inventory control this would be nice. I also found they are not included in the deposit payment formula this is only calculated on the base tour price. It would also be good to be able to pick what gets put under the deposit total as I think I would not be alone having second agents taking deposits. This depends on the options that you give agents to book products. Thank for the info I keep having a play and see how it goes. I am more like a vendor in the way I wholesale supply tours, however need to control my own content. -

Inappropriate?Andrew, if you use a percentage deposit instead of a fixed price deposit, then the options that are added will affect the deposit amount. I realize this may not be an ideal solution, but it might help to ensure you're getting a deposit that is more reflective of the true value of the product being purchased. I'll keep you posted on the booking basket.
