Where's my voucher?
I still have a lot of customers looking for the voucher asking where they can find it and whether or not we've sent one. Is there any way to make the voucher link more obvious in the e-mails?

Inappropriate?Hi Jason, any recommendations on how we could make the voucher more obvious?

Inappropriate?On the notification of receipt of payment that the customer gets (when made using backend), the customer does not get an 'original booking receipt'. It also asks the customer to print their voucher but gives no link to do so. The following is from the only e-mail I get as a customer:
{Your booking receipt and invoice are available on-line using the link provided by your original booking receipt. Please be sure to print your voucher and bring it with you. Your voucher must be presented on location.}
How do I print my voucher?
Perhaps something like the following might work:
{To Print your Voucher, click the link below or copy and paste it into your browser.}
You could also be super snazzy and add a little bit o' code like this\;
{onLoad="window.print()"}
This will popup the print window to allow the user to print the voucher.
What do you think?
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem also.
When making a booking through the backend, you have to manually send a booking receipt by clicking on the link in the top left of the Booking Details page. If this is not done, the customer would not receive the voucher and receipt. Of course, if the customer is present then the information could be printed and given to them. But, it would make for a reassuring safeguard if the link to the Booking Receipt and Voucher was available in the automatic confirmation email.

Inappropriate?I'm trying to understand the situation a little better here. Is the issue that the email receipt only links to on-line receipt and NOT the voucher?

Inappropriate?Yes, you are correct on both accounts. On the confirmation (before payment is processed) and on the receipt (after payment is processed) there is no link to the voucher. I can understand there being no link before payment, but after payment status is changed to received and the customer is notified, the e-mail that is sent to them should clearly state a hyperlink to direct the customer to their voucher, much like we see from the back-end.
I hope this clarifies the situation.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Ah, okay. I think I understand the inconsistency that you are experiencing.
1. When a customer creates a booking on the front-end of Rezgo, they receive an email confirmation that contains a link to their online receipt.
2. When one of your staff creates a booking on the back-end of Rezgo, they must click on the "Send Booking Receipt" button to send a copy of the booking confirmation to the customer. This email confirmation is the same one that the customer would have received if they had booked on the front-end website.
3. If you change the payment status of the booking, the notification email sent to the customer refers to the "original booking receipt". If the customer had not received this original email because the booking was made through the back-end, then the customer would not have access to their original email with the link to their receipt and voucher.
I will ask the dev team to modify the notification email so that it matches the booking receipt email and includes the direct link to the online booking receipt and voucher.
I'll keep you posted on the progress. -
Inappropriate?We have modified the notification message that is sent when payment status of the booking is changed to "CONFIRMED" so that it contains the link to the on-line receipt and voucher. This is the same behaviour as the front-end booking email confirmation. Please take a look, try it out, and let us know if that hits the spot.

Inappropriate?Good news!! Thanks Stephen and team, not only does it hit the spot, but you scored a bulls eye! A simple and effective improvement, actioned impressively swiftly.
So, for the benefit of anyone referencing this post; this means that when you are in the back-end Booking Details screen and you finalize a booking by changing the Payment Status (drop-down box) to 'Received' - an automatic email will be sent to the address in the Billing Information email field. This will confirm the booking and provide a link to the Voucher.
However, should you need to resend this information at any time, simply access the Booking Details page again and click on the 'Send Booking Receipt' link and a copy of the confirmation will be sent containing the same link to the Voucher.
*TIP: Should you require the email to go to a different address, you can edit and save the details in Billing Information and fire off an email by clicking on 'Send Booking Receipt'.
I’m impressed!

Inappropriate?Thanks Mike. It always helps to have customers who can articulate their needs. Please be sure to leave us some praise, the team appreciates a good pat on the back once in a while.
