I just discovered your "secret" company space!! :D ;)
I just wanted to ask, why one can join it and post questions and stuff (like I do) to "this internal satisfaction site"? Maybe I'm just too bold/daring/shameless posting here, but in general this shouldn't be (conceptually) possible, should it?
Or do you just love to share your internal squabbling with the whole world? ;-)
Anyway, it shows you really love your service and use it every time you can! :D
(Might be your Instant Messaging surrogate?...)
But I think you're already developing a version of internal, secured space options for other companies, aren't you? ;)
When I see the products listed on the right I always expect that clicking on one will take me to the product page not to Topics about that product. It's always a bit unsettling. Can we make the intent clearer and possibly give the option to go to that product's page as well?
Once I've added a link the "Add Link" link is so close to the fields I've just filled out that I think I'm supposed to click it to add that info. Maybe once you've added one link the text can change to "Add another link" or there can be more visual distinction between the fields for the link you just added and the "Add Link" link.
...are we planning to include more than just "Today's Activity"? What if I haven't checked in a couple days? Would be nice for it to paginate back in time a bit.
IDEALLY... I would love it if there were some way for it to either know what I saw last or for me to be able to tell it how much acitivity history to show me.
Anyway, I know we're not doing anything new this week but I'm just curious what the plan is for this feature in the near future.
The Ajax updates are the cause of this problem. I added one response, then another. THe I edited the second response, leading to the time ago stamp showing the latest reply originating earlier than the previous reply. Not exactly serious, but worth pointing out.
After I add a topic with an associated product I get to the new topic page with the product listed in the left-hand column. Only the topic count for that product doesn't include the new topic in it. It doesn't reflect the addition of the new topic.
Some auto-content like this would help keep the mini profiles from being empty if the user hasn't added tagline, etc. Plus, it adds a touch of gameiness to the system.
Leslie, you may some good ideas about how to do this in a more interesting, unconventional way than traditional forums.
When I edit a topic it seems like the final "Post Topic" button should be something different from what it was when I first went through and created the topic. Maybe something more like "Save Edit" or "Repost Topic".
If you use this company's products or services, we'll add the company to your dashboard. If you work for this company, we'll add you as an employee. Got it, thanks!
