Inappropriate?This was my first SHiFT experience. I really liked it!
I enjoyed the presentations very much for their diversity.
In addition, I was in awe of how smooth the whole event ran. Very, very well organised.

Inappropriate?This was my first year shift too, and i liked it.
Sure that there are always things that could be better, i'm thinking specifically in the wireless connection.
Globally the event was great and i really like the idea of bringing people from all other non-tech areas to show us, tech oriented people, other ways to think about problems and solutions.
Thumbs up for the welcome kit, balloons and speakers list!

Inappropriate?The organizers of SHiFT have shown to be very innovative, and creative in finding ways to make the conference fun, instructive, and productive for the participants.
A suggestion for the 2009 edition would be to concentrate on ways for the local participants to overcome some hesitation they had in asking questions. Maybe offering a tool with which written questions could be asked, or some fun way of breaking the ice would help!
