\why can't I view snapfish slideshows on my pc?
I cannot view snapfish slideshows on my pc - box shows white and says is complete. Can view slideshows from my pictures and can view individual photos and film clips on snapfish. Any suggestions?

The slideshow is a Flash-based application, so the first thing to do is go to adobe.com and download the latest version of Flash Player. That really should solve the problem.1 Comment

I have flash player and have uninstalled and reinstalled it and the problem is the same. i can view youtube etc so does not seem to be flash. -

I talked to a few of our engineers and they think that this must be a software conflict, probably caused by some security software on your computer. Are you running more than one firewall at a time?

Inappropriate?I have turned off Norton Internet Security (kept virus protection) and it now works, we run our connection through a router so I don't think Norton is needed too, is it? Many thanks for your help.

Inappropriate?Since you are running through a router, your computer is safer than one that is not on a router, but it is really not a good idea to disable security features. The Norton program should not interfere with our slideshow feature (if it did we would get hundreds of complaints a day); most likely some other software on your system is interacting with Norton to cause the problem (this is a software conflict). Unfortunately, tracking down which specific software is causing the problem will be difficult...
