More Social Networking Features Wanted
I would love to see Snapvine create a main "Polls" page and add a new feature that would allow members to create voice polls that members could vote on, and comment to.
The Polls could be searchable by using the current tags feature that we have in place in our voice blogs.
I think this would be a fun way of bringing active members together in one place iand keep them coming back to see fresh content.
You could also create a main Topics, or Discussion page that would work the same way but rather allow members to start discussions with a topic title. These would be more interactive social networking features that I would love to see added to Snapvine. Features like this would give Snapvine a huge lead over other social networks because of the voice capability that Snapvine already has in place.
I often wonder why Snapvine doesn't see things like this or care to implement them when it is so obvious to a social nutwork like myself .. lol

Inappropriate?I think by upgrading what's already available, it's a good start. I'd like to see customizable settings, like being able to hide your number of hits. I'd also like the ability to look through my friends list with greater ease, and **send a shout out to certain people on my list without having to make a new message for each page of friends that I'd like to select. If that makes sense.
I'd also like a photo upgrade, maybe 5 photos to start off that each member can upload?

i am still new to all of this..so far i think its very cool, yet i see the same thing here as with other social sites...number of friends is a big deal. No one talks yet its a vocal social site...that i dont understand.....i think that some need to be taken by the hand to get some better understanding of it all. (like me, lol) I do like your idea of the "main" topics/discussion to draw more ppl into communicating with each others and meeting new ppl. i want a "delete acct" option...how can they have a site and not be able to delete an acct? then you have "dead" ppl here....like more customizing options for profile pages....colors, pix, etc.....thx for letting me vent -

Inappropriate?Yeah Hippy, that "shout out" bug with the problem selecting friends on multiple pages has been really bugging everybody for a long time. We have reported this numerous times even back when Joe still owned Snapvine and it hasn't been fixed yet. I also think the ability to hide hits to a blog post would be nice and save us some shame on those posts that really bombed ..haha
SassyCat, You hit the nail right on the head about the account deletion feature. We all have some dead accounts that we would like to be able to remove and there are surely hundreds of inactive/abandoned accounts on Snapvine. permentaly deleting your account should be no more that a "two click" operation
