Voice blog has no recording after I embedded it on my network and called in my voice recording.
I wrote you an email, but I'm desperate and need help asap. I've got the voice blog on my network community.dixon2.com. I recorded my message. But, there is no recording on my voice blog. What did I do wrong?

Inappropriate?I went to your community.dixon2.com, and saw your voice blog player. I then went back to Snapvine to your profile and see that your blog does not have any audio. Try recording your blog post again. Be sure to allow the 'voice preview player' to completely process the recording (I assume you used a mike). Once you have allowed time for this, then add photo, tags, URL or text if you wish. Then click on Save or Publish once all have appeared in the preview player.
I would suggest doing a short test blog to make sure the recording is working.
Hope this helps.

Inappropriate? No Granny Joan, I didn't use a mike. I used my telephone. I'm a newbie as you can tell, so please break it down for me. What I did was add tags, link, etc, and then I went to add audio, it gave me the temporary code. I called in. I'm wondering if I hit publish before I made the call. I can't remember. But, I'll try it again. I didn't see anything like a 'voice preview player' when I was on the phone, or when I hit 'add audio' it gave me the phone number to call and the temporary code. I called it. Followed instructions and ended the call. I saw on my network that I had to wait until the next day to hear it, and I waited, and nothing. Thanks for your help. I'll go to that webpage you suggested tomorrow and try everything again.
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Have you validated your phone number? I am going to go thru the motion of doing a test phone blog using temp code and then get back here with some sort of helpful hints I hope. Hang on ... I'll be back.
You can validate a phone under 'Account' menu in upper right corner of page.

Inappropriate?Okay, here are the steps as far as I can see. Click on 'Home' menu option. Then click on 'Create a post' (which is different from 'create a blog' which is at the bottom of voice blogs'. You should see the following screen (or similar as I am on Macintosh and you are probably on a PC)

You should dial the number (make sure the country is chosen to be US if you are in the United States) and then enter the temp code (I think you have a limited time to enter the code or it becomes invalid). Then you start recording your voice blog post. When finished recording hit any key on phone. The operator should give you choices to 1 - save the blog post 2- listen to it. Hit '1'. Then watch the player on the screen of your PC on the right side. It should start 'processing the audio' and a bar should appear with player arrow and a very faint line will go across the scroll bar. When this has had time to process then you can click on publish or go to the next options: add photo, add text, add tags, add link (URL). But do each only after the player has processed the audio. Then after that you must click on 'Publish' ....

Hope this helps.
PS After each of the options you may see "add tag" be sure to click on that and see if the tags to goto the player.

To get rid of the faulty blog without audio, you can click on the title of the blog and you should get the options to 'Leave a Comment', 'Share', 'Edit Post' and 'Delete Post'.
