custom meta data added to header, not showing up
I have added a meta title, meta description & meta verify code for Google Webmaster Tools to the page header and the custom HTML header both but it seems that they do not register. I checked the page source and none of these custom meat tags show up. Any help?

Inappropriate?I see now that the custom meta data shows up near the bottom of the tag but does not replace the site wide <title> and <description> from the Network Details settings. Also, The Google Webmaster Tools verify code shows up but will not verify for some reason
Any ideas or help would be appreciated...
Thx!

Inappropriate?Hi, sorry to hijack this question, but it is related. I have added the Google Verification tag into the <head> section and now my site has been verified. Do I have to leave the tag there or can it be deleted? I dont thinks its doing any harm there, I just wanted to know.
Cheers</head>
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hi Lucy,
It's worth keeping it in there, just in case Google ever need to verify your site again in the future (account changes etc). As you say, it does no harm there :)
