Why don't verify duplicated nicks at sign up??
When people sign up, actually they can choose any nickname even if this nicks it's been used by another member, we had some problems with this.
Is it possible to verify if the nick is available to avoid this??
Besides that, I'm not sure about the convenience of giving members the options to change theirs nick, sometimes it's hard to track members that are changing nicks all the time :(

Inappropriate?The members can have any nick name becuase there profile is a numeber not a name on there URL.
as well to keep track with members just remember there profile numeber like: mysitename.socialgo.com/members/profile/ and what ever there number is. -

Now we know the problem's source, but the problem is still there.
Imagine 4 or 5 more Lukes in the same network, it's a really confusing situation for all the members, in fact, verify if the nicks is available is the usual thing everywhere.
I hope SG team take note of this situation and solve it in the future. -
Inappropriate?Yes i do see were you can have that problem there should be like youtube nic name were you pick your main name and then then add a diffrent name for your profile.
and member own URL's (that thay pick)

Inappropriate?I completely agree, this is very frustrating. members should NOT be allowed to change usernames once activated as this makes it very hard to track subscriptions and I am also having a nightmare with duplicate nicknames. It is too easy for someone to pretend to be someone else and upset the whole network. PLEASE SOCIAL GO ADDRESS THIS AS IT COULD KIL MY NETWORK!
