Ideas for vital improvements for future versions
For the upcoming releases of Songbird, I suggest adding the following two features that are rather common in many music players:
The first one is the ability to dock Songbird into the system tray (none of the current Windows plugins work)
The second one is implementing a "Now Playing" list, without the use of an add-on... Adding items to a playlist and then playing that is not really the same... When you double-click a file in the library, it should be added to "Now Playing", and start to play. =)

Inappropriate?We've got a bug filed for minimize to system tray, I'll add your comments there. As for the Now Playing as a core feature, we've got that on our list but haven't yet settled on the optimal design. In the meantime, the Now Playing List add-on does a great job.
