Interface Font Size
I really like song bird, but I also use my pc as a media center and so sit about 2m away from the screen. I need to increase the font sizes.
I have played about with the settings in Preferences>content>advanced and the "Minimum font size" changes the playlist text etc. But the rest of the interface does not scale properly to accommodate the lager text and it becomes unusable.
In Vista, this is not too much of a problem because changing the global font dpi in the control panel maps on to Songbird ok. But I use Linux more often and Songbird does not account for the OS (Ubuntu) global dpi (presumably because it's not built with gtk or the like).
I would love to use Songbird as my main media player, but until I can read the text sitting on my sofa, I can not.

Inappropriate?Hi baroo,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your problem. We are aware that the library does not currently scale to accommodate larger text, and we are working on fixing this for a future release. To track the comments on this work item:
1. Go to the "people" box in the upper right hand corner of bug #10033;
2. Add your email in the "add cc" box;
3. Scroll down and hit commit.
If you don't have a free bugzilla account, signing up is quick and easy and will allow you to share your feedback directly with the development team.
I also assume that you would like to be able to change the font size for the application itself, not just the library. This is not currently possible in Songbird, but we are also hoping to have this functionality in a future release. We have bug #1724 open for this issue, so feel free to follow the same procedure as above for tracking it as well. -
Inappropriate?I have a vision impairment, so I set my fonts to be quite large on Ubuntu, but Songbird does not seem to listen to this and I can't find a way to change it. (Or if there is, the fonts are too small for me to find the option in the first place)
I’m sad
