Songbird keeps muting randomly in Vista

Whenever I play music now in Songbird after a few minutes of so it will just stop playing, but still be playing in songbird there is just no sound. When I look in the mixer it is muted, unmuting it usually solves it but even that sometimes does not work. It is pretty annoying, really appreciate any help. It was working fine up until yesterday, been using it for about a month
