Inappropriate?Songbird now on my computer but iTunes doesn't come off until Songbird has internal rip'n'burn , this really is an essential feature for any media player . -

While I absolutely love EAC, I don't think integration is feasible.
1) EAC isn't open source (though it is free)
2) EAC is only on Windows, so there would still need to be a solution for Mac and Linux users.
I think EAC should be looked at by the team, and be the ultimate "goal" for an "Advanced Mode." I think it'll be a long time out before Songbird would be able to match the rip quality of EAC. -
Inappropriate?I can't wait for the rip'n burn feature. When this comes I will remove Banshee, Floola and all other programs that I have now used for this.
Songbirds benefits over the other programs:
Banshee is slow and the ripping feature is a bit buggy (not all CD Metadata is extracted, so then I have to use Sound Juicer for that...). Right now Banshee is my default iPod-organizer, but that'll change when I feel Songbird is where it should be.
Floola is good, fast and such, but some of the UI-design isn't as good as for Songbird.
I would too pay for Songbird for Linux. It's all about having a program that is stable, fast and does what you expect the program to do.
Will ripping be added in May? In the roadmap it seems to have been moved later in the year.
