Songbird won't start nor let itself install anymore
Yesterday Songbird wouldn't start. But it was showing in the Task-manager. Strangely enough, it always had CPU 50% (all the time, not like the usualy 2-5%)and I waited for an hour without doing anything. Stil, nothing happened. Then I tried to install another version (I had 1.3) and even uninstalled Songbird manually.
"An older version of Songbird is installed; only one version of Songbird my be instaled at a time. Do you wish to uninstall it and install Songbird x.x.x?"
I kept klicking "Ja" (yes) and the same message keeps on appearing. I thoughtmy PC is pranking a little joke on me, but usually this doesn't happen, when I wait another day. Why doesn't it get installed? :(
I really hope you can help me... until then, I think I have to listen my music on iTunes... -__-"
Thanks a lot in advance.

Inappropriate? Two pointers that could be helpful:

Actually this should be merged. But I don't know how...

Inappropriate?Well I did not find anything, just Songbird exe version in the prefetch folder and i still can't install it. :(
btw, I have Windows XP. -
Inappropriate? Here is the instruction posted by Andrew on how to uninstall Songbird 1.3 manually from the link given above. You should be able to install another version after that.
1) Wipe the songbird directory
2) Go to Regedit.
3) Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Songbird specifically.
