Support For Orb 2.0 Streams
I am running Songbird 1.0 for Linux... Normally I listen to my music collection via streams from Orb 2.0, which can send in .pls, .asx, .sdp or .ram format. Is there any way to get Songbird to play any of those stream formats?

Inappropriate?Do you get url's using Orb?
Something like:
http://www.zappersoftware.com/video/h...
or
http://www.hot108.com/hot108.pls
Try to use File-Open from URL -
Inappropriate?Sorry, I meant File - Open Location
I've tried, it doesn't seem to work with .asx or .pls formats on Linux.
I will ping a couple on engineers on that and will follow up here. -
Inappropriate? There are not URLs... The way Orb 2.0 works is you log into your personal site using a browser (I use Firefox), which brings up an iTunes/Winamp style content management window (see the attached screenshot). When you select a specific track or album and click play a helper application (hopefully Songbird) opens and plays the stream.

Inappropriate?I'm also one who would love to see this functionality work in Songbird. Given that Songbird has a built-in browser, it would be kind of awesome to have Orb open in one tab in Songbird and have Songbird itself playing the stream.

Inappropriate? There is a feature suggestion for this filed:

Inappropriate?Excellent. I was unaware it was already in a tracker, I just found this page in a Google search and piped up. I added myself to the CC list for that bug. Thanks for your time and efforts!
