Buying playlists as CD's
It would be great if you could click and button which allows you to buy your playlist as a CD compilation (not MP3)
Not everyone thinks mp3 is good enough sound quality to purchase and would like to buy music as CD's particularly to play over a quality stereo sounds sytem, instead of low quality mp3

Inappropriate?We already have right click to buy some albums and tracks but we do plan to expand that to playlists as well in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

Inappropriate?This is undoubtedly the one of the key points for Spotify to pursue...
The ability to create playlists of your favourite tracks and in a single action legitimately purchase these for your personal use, is of immense appeal to all users.
There is a mass of listeners who would happily support the music industry and their favourite artists by the legitimate acquisition of their favourite tracks. But this needs to be a two way street. The costs must be fair and reasonable, otherwise the users will feel abused and only be encouraged to find other ways of beating the system.
The music industry is currently under siege. The global problem of illegal downloading and duplication is a huge challenge and the stability of the industry that provides so much pleasure to so many, is under threat like never before.
Spotify could (and should) be a key part of that solution. It would be a relatively simple task to enable a user to instantly purchase all of the songs on a selected playlist, in a single transaction. At a stroke each artist would receive recognition and a proportion of the revenue stream. The online seller would earn their margin and I suspect some override would be apportioned to Spotify as the initiator.
At a stroke Spotify could provide the means by which vast numbers of music lovers could purchase their favorite music, simply and legitimately, thereby supporting the artists and the industry that brings us all so much pleasure.
I note that this topic has been on Spotify's radar for over 5 months now, as acknowledgement of the value of this idea was give from Spotify official representatives some time ago.
So Come On Spotify... How long can this possibly take !
The debate on the future of the music industry and the losses caused by illegal downloads, bypassing all royalties and earnings streams for artists and their supporting companies, is at the top of the agenda right now.
This is a huge opportunity for Spotify to take pole position and the moral high ground. The opportunity to provide an equitable solution to all parties is within your capabilities.
The timing is now !
