Non-functional purchases/Kbit size
Some purchased music is only delivered with a size of 2-3 Kbit. Repeated action only decrease download. Where do I gain the entire file and my right to lost dowload?

Inappropriate? There have been some intermittent problems which may have affected a small number of users when purchasing music through 7digital on Spotify, Please try deleting the track data file, restarting Spotify and downloading the track again.
The original failed download will mean you have lost a download license for the purchase. Please contact the 7digital customer services team to restore the licence by using the form at the bottom of this link:http://www.7digital.com/help/item?category=9 -
I think this is pretty poor. In the Internet world, failed downloads are quite common. Spotify and/or its partners should be able to deal with this and recover automatically - you don't see iTunes leaving you in the lurch without half of what you paid for. Having to send emails to get things fixed is nonsense. I won't be buying anything else through Spotify - its too much trouble when you only get half of what you paid for. -
I think YOU should contact 7digital. Your error caused this so we shouldn't waste our time talking to 7digital (they never answer anyway). -

Inappropriate? This is also happening to me all the time. It always gets to 4kb then moves on as if it's completed the download.
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate?Me too - had the problem yesterday with some other tracks, managed to get them eventually but used up 3 of my download entitlements in the process. Now have the same problem with another track - which does not work at-all. Have tried deleting and re-downloading without success.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Purchased 4 tracks, only one plays. The other 3 don't play, not even on original playlist. Can't delete purchases or redownload them. Feel ripped off.

I’m annoyed and disappointed

Inappropriate?I have only purchased one track and have the same problem. It will be the last track.

Inappropriate?I ́ve just posted a topic concerning the same problem as you have i guess. Downloaded 4 tracks wich i can ́t listen to even in spotify... In windows they appear as normal mp3 files but when looking closer they are too small and can ́t be opened. Now... since i ́m paying for a service i consider it to be their ́s problem to fix. If Spotify doesn ́t solve this problem i ́m changing to another application who can offer the same product but without problems!
I’m pissed

Inappropriate?Yes, this is Spotifys issue. We shouldn't have to talk to 7digital. Their applications bugged.
-
Inappropriate? This is not acceptable!! i have the same issue, 12 of my purchased songs are not playing.
I’m very angry
-
Inappropriate?Same here. Doesn't work. Hope to hear from Spotify with a solution and/or my money back.
I'm running Spotify on Wine/Ubuntu 9.10
I’m pissed off!

Inappropriate?I purchased an album and all I get is 4kb files. I removed the files and re-downloaded and I still get 4kb files and now I only have 1 download left.
I’m pissed off!

Inappropriate?Folks - I have at last got all of my files. I'm far from certain but I think it is related to the load on the downloading server(s). I deleted the 4KB rogue files, closed Spotify and only tried again when I thought general Internet would not be busy (early morning - otherwise you hit US traffic in the UK afternoon). I still think that the current arrangement between Spotify and 7Digital is poor - they should address this with proper download 'restart' capability. I did get an email from 7Digital, and they indicated that they would increase my download licences if I lost them all trying - bit of a pain having to send more emails, but in the end I got my files without using all of my licenses.
Oh, and only download one file at a time - it seemed worse when I queued a lot of tracks together. If you get a single failure, wait and try later.
Good luck. I still won't be buying anything else until I hear that they've sorted the problem - too much trouble. Spotify is still a great thing and I use it a lot - but their choice of 'purchase partner' or download technology isn't good enough yet.
-
Inappropriate?Used up all my download licenses trying to get a track to download properly. First time using spotify download and probably my last.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I've tried downloading on 3 different computers. All fails.
Give me my money back or fix the damn problem!
I’m pissed!

Andreas - send a note to support@spotify.com and put my name in the subject line. I'll make sure someone gets back to you shortly. -
