Password on EM1000-based system
Hello!
I'm currently developing a security system. It's ethernet-based and I'm using an EM1000. It seemed OK, until I found that anyone having access to the network could stop the application (and replace it with another!!!) simply using Tibbo's IDE (TIDE), available to anyone on the internet.
How can I protect an application running on an EM1000?
*** Hint *** In the same network I have an access control terminal (from Giga-Tms), based on a Tibbo module, running some "3.14(S)+N" firmware version. Any attempt of rebooting or uploading results in a message box request "Enter password". Can't EM1000 do this as well?

Inappropriate?I greet, I also wanted to communicate this problem. The introduction be can the indirect solution in TIOS to during instals the application necessary it was enclosure of the button MD e.g. in EM1202-EV and EM1000-EV, it limited this the possibility remote unentitled the changes of software. -
Inappropriate?I do agree some kind of upload security is needed. So far there isn't anything yet until our engineers release this feature.

Inappropriate?Yes please reconsider about security problem in Tibbo. A least some function(object) to disable/enable the ability to uploading firmware and application via LAN. I think password request really is a good idea.
