What are the differences between Laptop Messenger and Messenger with Laptop Insert?
In bag builder, can you get the laptop messenger bag without the handle on the top? Would this then just be the messenger bag with the laptop insert? Another question, is the laptop insert sewn into the customizable messenger bag or is it free floating?
I’m curious because I really want a Timbuk2 bag but want the RIGHT ONE!

Inappropriate?if you wanted a laptop bag w/o the handle on top, yes, you can get the messenger and put in a laptop insert, which is sewn inside the bag.
I’m giggling at "free floating laptop".

I noticed there is a little tab on the standard messenger that I assume is to clip a light onto.
I was actually thinking of opting for that with a laptop sleeve as opposed to the laptop messenger, but now learning that it's either that tab or a handle, I am rather torn between the two.
I’m wanting the best of both worlds.

Inappropriate?they both have the vista loop (the tab for the light).. and the laptop messenger is just a regular messenger with a laptop sleeve and a grab strap. but you can add both to a regular messenger during the build process.
