Can I start a conference from the desktop app?
I'd love to start a video conference from the AIR desktop app without having to go to the web page. We use tokbox all the time for quick videoconferencing at work, but talking with more than one other person requires starting a conference from the web page, which is an annoyance.

Inappropriate?Yes. If you're in a call with one person, simply click on the invite button in the call window (this will generate a url).

That's cool, but it doesn't quite deal with my day to day use case. We run weekly meetings that involve three or four different offices. Before each week's meeting we set up a LiveMeeting link and send it out to all of the participants about a half hour early so they can connect when the meeting starts up. I'd like to do the same thing with Tokbox, creating the link up front and sending it out to the team. I can do this from the web site, but not from the AIR app. To use the AIR app I'd have to start a video conversation with at least one of the other people in the meeting, then create the URL, then email is out. Getting one of the other folks to be available every week 1/2 hour early isn't always sensible.
It'd be nice to have a "Conference" button in the AIR app somewhere. Maybe to the right of "Find Friends". -
Inappropriate?Ok, will mention it to see if we can make the process easier for you. Thanks for the feedback.

Inappropriate? Also, is there a way to join an existing conference from the AIR app?

Inappropriate?Hi Paul,
You would want the party to send you a link to the conference.
