It won't talk to me!

I'm very new at this. After recording, when I play back the video, there is no sound. What should the microphone settings show? When it asked for the sound test, I heard the ringing before, now I don't. Is there something else I'm supposed to adjust?

I did check the volume using the mixer panel and it indicates that it is working. The tokbox setting also shows that the mic is working. My computer indicates an integrated microphone.
