Inappropriate?AIR application, Mozilla Firefox plug-in,etc. Which OS are you working with?
-
Inappropriate?i am having the same issues. all current versions of everthing. TokBok Client is loaded just not seen.........
-
Inappropriate?Hi ratbstrd,
I think I am actually engaging with you in the CS channel (will get back to the email shortly).
Does the AIR application show in your menu at all? On your drive? My guess is that it was installed & it simply isn't showing as an icon on your desktop. -
Inappropriate?Yes that is me on the other site. I found this one and was seeing if anyone else had the same issue as me with a solution. All the software is installed and displays icons. It's just that the friends list box is not showing up on the desktop. I don't know if I need to have a specific setting for something.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Which OS are you working with? Vista, XP, etc.?
You're given the option of logging into the AIR application, correct? It isn't showing the friends that you see logging directly into the Tokbox site? -
Inappropriate?I have Vista. I have nothing showing at all. No log in request. I click on the desktop icon for tokbox and -nothing. A friend has the same laptop and has no problems. We have all the same settings as far as we can tell.
-
Inappropriate?Ok, so does it show if you go to add/remove programs? If you remove and re-install, does it resolve the issue?
-
Inappropriate? It does show there, I have un-stalled and installed several times with no luck....I don't get it.
-
Inappropriate?Hi,
Hard for me to see because I can't look at your computer:(
Are you also using the web site as well? I guess I am just curious as to whether or not things work directly from tokbox.com.
What about trying this:
cdn.tokbox.com/assets/air/DesktopClient.air -
Inappropriate?Well, I figured it out. I think it had to do with my security settings.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Thanks! Any tips on which security settings were creating issues? Might be a good troubleshooting trip for other folks. -
Inappropriate?I changed it from a "Custom Level" back to "Medium High" After that it worked. This was done in the internet options section under the tab security.
-
Inappropriate?Hi ratbstrd,
Awesome. Thanks for the tip! -
Inappropriate?Hi RATBSTRD ,
To confirm: This was for the AIR application, correct? -
Inappropriate?Yes.....I downloaded everything, it seems to have been a problem with an Active X issue. (thats one of the things listed inthe security tab).
