Inappropriate?Yes this would be of great interest to me.

Inappropriate?Love to see it - I just started using Aperture
-
Inappropriate?Absolutely! I don't plan to buy Photoshop, but use Aperture quite regularly. This would have been an excellent addition! Hope you code it.
I’m hopeful
-
Inappropriate? It would be great with an Apterture plugin of Topaz Adjust. I would prefer this to using Photoshop
I’m Excited
-
Inappropriate? Please do! Having to switch from Aperture to Photoshop is such a break in the workflow! (i signed up here just to say this!)
I’m excited
-
Inappropriate?Thank you all for your feedback. We have decided to port it to Aperture. No formal release date, but should be done in a couple of months.
Again, we really appreciate your support. Please keep sending us ideas and we will try our best to make Topaz Adjust your tools of choice. -
That is wonderful news. many, many thanks. Will you let followers of this thread know when the launch date is please/
Thanks again
Douglas -
Certainly, we'll post here when more details are available. Thanks! -
Will the aperture version be a free update for existing Adjust license owners? -
Inappropriate?YES I NEED THIS FOR APERTURE!!!! I would have bought this a long time ago if you had an aperture plug in. But for someone who is not running a windows editing system, Until you have the plugin available i wont be making the purchase.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Absolutely, add me in!
-
Inappropriate?Me too, very interested in Aperture adjust plug in.
-
Inappropriate?Any update on the Aperture plug-in? I just found out about Adjust on the dpreview website.
-
Inappropriate?I've emailed Topaz directly but haven't received a reply. Hmmm.
-
Inappropriate? It's still in the works, everyone. Sorry for the lack of responsiveness.
-
Inappropriate?ETA? Not being deliberately difficult but I've seen too much of this "Aperture plug-in in development" only to see things go nowhere (hello Imagenomic).
-
Inappropriate? To be honest, it was harder than we expected to develop Aperture support. No ETA at this time, but rest assured it will happen.
-
Inappropriate?Thanks.
One more question: If I purchase the Photoshop plug-in, will there be an upgrade path to the Aperture plug-in? -
Inappropriate? As a professional photographer I'd rather wait and have as fault free an application as possible. The very fact that you are working on a version of this great tool for Aperture is excellent .
Douglas
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate?I just bought your Topaz suite at Macworld in the hopes that plug-ins will be made for Aperture. Most of the time, I just make adjustments in Aperture, but will go into Photoshop if I need to, but it's a pain. I bought the Noise Ninja plug-in because it would be easy to incorporate into the workflow. I would love it if your Adjust (or DeNoise) plugin also works on RAW files (NEF for me, since I shoot Nikon) and not just jpegs.

Inappropriate?I would be very interested in seeing a package version of the Topaz plug-ins for Aperture. I am currenlty using the Nik Filters bundle in Aperture and like that approach very much, but would like some additonal capability. I only minimally use Photoshop Elements and cannot justify the cost of Photoshop just for the plug-in capability.
JustBob -
Inappropriate?Hello Eric,
I'd really like an Aperture plugin as well.
I'm ready to buy the special bundle offer if you come up with one.
For what it's worth you guys beat Noise Ninja and Nik dFine in direct head to head testing on tough 3200 ISO Canon 5D files.
I’m hopeful.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for everyone how are interested in the Aperture porting. The project runs longer than we have expected but we expect to see some initial rough porting running next week. We will have a solid release date soon.
-
Albert, do you plan to have some of us participate in a beta test. I would certainly be interested.
JustBob -
I would also be good with beta-testing (assuming it's beta and not alpha, library erasing stuff). Keep the heat up on those programmers. We really need Topaz DeNoise for Aperture. I love the soft glow effects I have been able to get with custom settings. -
Inappropriate?I would love to beta test, I am extremely happy with your product.
Scott Rovak -
Inappropriate?I too am interested in participating in a beta test. I like very much the effects your products offer.

I’m excited about the potential!
-
Inappropriate?I would be interested as well on the aperture plugin. Just throwing my 2 cents in for what it's worth.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?A bad new for Aperture porting. The initial code from our contractor is not very encouraging. Looks like it will take even longer than we expected. Very sorry that we cannot make it happens on time.
Looks like we need to change the approach of doing it. So it is hard to give a concrete release schedule. Our sincere apology. -
Inappropriate?Hello Albert,
Thanks for the update. If you are redoing the port, you should try to tap into the non-destructive SDK. All the existing plugins are using the older destructive (working only on a tiff, not the original RAW file) architecture.
You have a chance to be the first with the newer non-destructive Aperture plugin architecture.
Cheers.
I’m sad
-
Do you have experience of Aperture SDK? If so, please email me albert [at] topazlabs [dot] com . -
Inappropriate?Hello Albert,
Unfortunately not first hand. We'd love to code an image application and we'd be very good at it, but there would be some new ground to cross for us.
I’m interested
-
Inappropriate?I'd definitely purchase the Aperture version as it fits perfectly into my workflow. As a photographer and developer, I'd also love the opportunity to help beta test.
Do you know if the update to Aperture would be free if you purchased the PS version?
Thanks!
Rob
I’m excited
-
Any information about upgrading to Aperture? I'd love to use the PS version today and would purchase if I got a free upgrade to the Aperture plug in version. -
Inappropriate? Was at an Art Wolfe workshop today and had Topaz demonstrated -- looks GREAT but as an Aperture use I CAN NOT USE IT --- PLEASE FIX THIS!!! Make it a plug in for Aperture and iPhoto like On1 did with Essentials ---- you will make BOATLOADS OF MONEY LIKE ON1 did!!!!!
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?We need it!
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for the messages. I am glad to say that the project is progressing. We hope to have something for beta testing next month.
-
Inappropriate?I want to use Topaz Adjust, and Topaz DeNoise with Aperture. (Canon 5dMark II raw files). I do not use photoshop. Went to B&H-Rick Sammon HDR lecture and demo today and am very enthusiastic about using your products. Can it be used as currently configured with Aperture? Must it be used as a plug-in?
-
Inappropriate?Another update on the Aperture porting. It is going well and we should be able to release beta sometimes next week.
-
How do I sign up do to beta-testing? -
Inappropriate?I have a great news for Aperture users, after a long delay, our Topaz plug-ins for Aperture support is finally available. See the news announcement, and give it a try and let us know how do you like it.

Inappropriate?I have tried to download and it crashes when I try and save the result. Can you advise please?
Thanks -
Inappropriate?Sorry about the problem that you have encountered. What OS X version that your Mac is on? And which plug-in that you tried that crashed? And also, could you please send the Crash Report to me?
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin I am using a macbookpro 17" with OS 10.5.7. I am trying to use the beta version of the Aperture plug in " Topaz Adjust". It just closes on me without leaving a crash report. Very frustrating after waiting all this time. Also i cannot find the registration key for this beta version.
Thanks for your help
Douglas -
Inappropriate?Hello Douglas,
It is the same registration key for "Aperture plug-in" Topaz Adjust. The Topaz Adjust that you are running is the same Topaz Adjust for Photoshop, and it actually is installed under your Photoshop CS3/CS4 plug-in directory. And if you can also use it in Photoshop. The Aperture Fusion Express simply imports it into Aperture through a technique called emulation.
If you already have a key for Topaz Adjust, you should not need to enter another key; if you don't have Topaz Adjust installed before, you can get a 30-trial key for Topaz Adjust 3 from our website at this link: http://www.topazlabs.com/downloads/ (enter your e-mail address in the text box, trial license keys will be emailed to you).
Please let me know if this works for you.
Thank you,
Kevin
-
Inappropriate?Sorry Kevin, but now I'm totally confused. I do not use photoshop and I thought the idea of the Topaz Adjust for Aperture was that it would run on my mac as a plug in for Aperture!
I have emailed for a password code but nothing happens.
douglas -
Inappropriate?I tried again and the Topaz Adjust does not install as an Aperture plug in.
The Topaz Fusion Express does install but it installs several different Topaz applications and then freezes Aperture if you select Topaz Adjust.
douglas -
Inappropriate? You don't have to use Photoshop to use the Topaz plug-ins for Aperture. But, if you happen to use Photoshop, these Topaz plug-ins would work for Photoshop and in fact they are native Photoshop plug-ins.
If you just have Aperture, they should run on your Aperture as a plug-in through the Topaz Fusion Express.
It should only take a few minutes to get an email with trial license keys after you send your email to our system. Have you checked your Spam folder? Sometimes, the email could be placed there by the email client that you are using.
Regards,
Kevin
